Public Security Director, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, met today in his office the Director of Security Cooperation and French Defense, Major General Regis Colcombete and his accompanying delegation. The two parties discussed the joint cooperation in the various security, police, training and academic fields.

The Director of Public Security also visited the Field Duties Unit  and stressed the importance of the role played by the unit in carrying out the tasks.

Major General Al-Maaitah indicated that the police work with the rapid change in social lifestyles requires keeping up with all these changes, working on acquiring new skills, and developing clear, applicable plans, in a way that contributes to the implementation of duties and the provision of security and humanitarian services according to the highest levels in a manner that guarantees the service of the country and the citizen and the preservation of Community security and peace.

Major General Al-Maaitah indicated that Public Security Directorate continues to support the efforts made by the unit, and is keen to provide all forms of support, administrative and logistical, necessary for it to enable its personnel  to carry out their duties according to the highest levels.

The Director of Public Security was by the unit commander in which he explained the most important tasks and duties undertaken by the unit, and the plans and strategies set to maintain the work system.
