The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, met separately in his office today with the British Ambassador to Jordan, Bridget Brind, and the Canadian Ambassador, Tariq Khan.
During the two meetings, the Director of Public Security discussed ways and means of enhancing joint cooperation in all fields that serve the police and security work system in Jordan and both friendly countries.
Major General Al-Maaitah indicated the importance of the extended strategic partnership with both friendly countries, especially in the field of building security capabilities and exchanging experiences. This cooperation is achieved through partnership programs aimed at modernization and development, and upgrading the level of services provided to citizens.
In their turn, the two ambassadors praised the good reputation that the Public Security Directorate enjoys, by providing a modern security umbrella in terms of the nature and level of police and humanitarian services provided by the Directorate to citizens and guests of Jordan, and the keenness of their two countries to expand cooperation frameworks and exchange experiences.
