The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, met in his office today the British Ambassador to Amman, Mr. Philip Hall.

The two parties discussed ways to strengthen the joint cooperation between the security agencies of the two friendly countries, and renewed the signing of the agreement related to building training and technical capabilities and developing performance aimed at serving society.

During the meeting, Major General Al- Maaitah stressed the Public Security Directorate’s keenness to consolidate the frameworks of the extended strategic partnership with the United Kingdom in various fields, especially the exchange of modern practical and training experiences, and the development of security and humanitarian services provided to citizens, praising the level of cooperation between the Public Security Directorate and the British side.

In turn, the British Ambassador appreciated the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate to provide comprehensive security and humanitarian services and the necessity of continuing to modernize them, stressing his country’s keenness on the importance of continuing cooperation and joint coordination in a way that contributes to serving the two friendly countries.
