The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, met in his office today the Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Harry Vervay, in which the both sides discussed ways of enhancing joint cooperation in all fields that serve the police and security work system between the two friendly countries.
Major General Maaitah stressed that Public Security Directorate always seeks to enhance its joint cooperation with its partners from the security agencies in brotherly and friendly countries, indicating to the importance of exchanging experiences between Jordan and the Netherlands to develop police performance and raise the capacity of the Public Security agencies in combating crime, especially the new ones.
The director praised the level of cooperation between Public Security Directorate and the Dutch embassy in matters related to developing police performance between the two security agencies in the two friendly countries, wishing this meeting would be a gateway to more joint cooperation, exchange of experiences and holding joint training courses in various security and police fields.
For his part, Dutch Ambassador Harry Vervay indicated that Jordan has achieved an advanced position by providing a modern security umbrella, which is noticeable in the nature and level of police and humanitarian services provided by the Jordan Public Security Directorate to citizens and guests of Jordan, stressing for more cooperation between the security agencies in the two friendly countries.
