Public Security Director, Maj. Gen. Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, met today in his office the Minister of Social Development, Ayman Al-Mufleh.

The two parties discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and Public Security Directorate in various fields related to their duties and ways to open a new sides for cooperation, which will reflect positively on the services provided by both sides.

 The Minister of Social Development emphasized the active role played by the Public Security Directorate through the policy of openness and partnership with all state institutions, especially the Ministry of Social Development. He appreciated the daily efforts made by the public security and the daily campaigns implemented with the Ministry’s cadres to reduce  the phenomenon of beggary, apprehend its perpetrators and take action against them, in addition to the efforts made by the Family and Juvenile Protection Department through an effective partnership with the social service offices to provide the best services to the Jordanian family.

For his part, the Director of Public Security stressed that PSD continues with the participation of all ministries and institutions in its duties and that it spares no effort to seek the service provided to the citizens in various fields and to overcome all difficulties and obstacles in order to reach the desired goals of that cooperation and partnership existing with various ministries and official institutions indicating  to the need to continue the participatory work to stand up and address all negative societal phenomena in accordance with laws and regulations.
