Today, the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, patronized the annual evaluation ceremony and honoring the winners of the Excellence Award at the individual and institutional levels / 2023, in the Public Security Directorate.

Major General Al-Maaitah was briefed  by the Inspector General, in which he presented the results of the annual evaluation of the strategic, operational, and administrative dimensions in the Public Security Directorate, through which he reviewed a large amount of data that had been collected and analyzed according to institutional performance indicators, aiming to raise the efficiency of workers and improve services, which showed a noticeable increase in the level of performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of coordination between all units and formations.

In his speech during the ceremony, Major General Al-Maaitah thanked  directors, and personnel of Public Security at their various job levels and positions, and everyone who worked honestly and sincerely to reach these distinguished results, which serve the public good, and represent the Public Security Directorate’s keenness to perform duties responsibly and honestly in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, The Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces.

Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the importance of continuous work to enhance the accumulated experience and expertise of the Public Security Directorate, which has become a distinguished security agency at the local and international levels since its establishment more than a hundred years ago, indicating to the importance of investing in renewed ideas and knowledge, and upgrading the human component, to ensure the achievement of the directorate's objectives are to preserve national achievements and protect lives, property.

The Director of Public Security stated that the awards achieved by the winners are the result of their sincere efforts that they have made while performing the tasks and duties assigned to them, and which reflect the distinguished level and professionalism they have achieved, calling for this honor to be an motivation for them and their colleagues towards greater effort and giving in the service of the nation and the citizen.

At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by senior public security officers from various units and formations, PSD director delivered awards to those deserving of them.
