Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Prince Hussein Ibn Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection, patronized the graduation ceremony of the eleventh batch of academy students at the Palace of Culture in Al-Hussein Youth City.
Major General Al-Maaitah praised the distinguished academic and professional level reached by the academy, which was reflected in the performance of its graduates in Jordan and in friendly and brotherly countries.
Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah handed over certificates to graduates in specializations that included fire engineering and public safety, disaster and crisis management, mechanical engineering and specialized medical ambulance.
During the celebration, the graduates expressed their pride in this distinguished academic scientific approach, appreciating the efforts made by the academy and teaching staff in achieving all graduation requirements.
The graduates stressed their keenness to translate the science and knowledge they acquired during their studies, to contribute to building the nation, and to engage in the labor market with all professionalism and ability.
The Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection is considered the first of its kind in teaching specialized academic fields at the level of the Middle East, North and East Africa. The academy was opened in the year 2009 under The Royal patronage, as a distinguished center for teaching civil protection sciences. The academy also awards an intermediate university degree for security and safety specializations.
