The Director of Public Security stresses the need to implement the security and traffic plan during the period of  the results of the high school examinations.

The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, affirmed that Public Security Directorate continues to provide security and humanitarian services to citizens and residents of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, inspired by the permanent directives of His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, King Abdullah II.

Major General Al-Maaitah stressed during his visit today to the North Region Security Command, the need to implement the security and traffic plan during the announcement of the results of high school examinations and dealing with all negative practices, especially the phenomenon of firing bullets which cause obstruction to traffic.

Major General AL-Maaitah praised the efforts that were made to make the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts a success this year, which reflected the distinguished level of public security personal and the extent of discipline, commitment and keenness on the success of various national events, to reflect the bright picture of the Kingdom.

Major General Al-Maaitah indicated the importance of the security and humanitarian roles provided by the commanders of the security regions through the police directorates and police stations, and the specialized departments attached to them from the various public security units and departments, in carrying out the duties entrusted to them and the security campaigns aimed at providing security and community peace, combating crime in all its forms.

The Director of Public Security indicated to the the importance of strengthening community partnership with the citizen, as he is a major partner in the security work system through the implementation of community initiatives and projects.

During his visit to the Qafqafa Correction and Rehabilitation Center, Major General Al-maaitah stressed the need to step forward with the implementation of reform and rehabilitation plans and programs aimed at providing all services to inmates, in a way that contributes to correcting inmate’s  behavior and providing them with the opportunity to be reintegrated to society after the end of their sentence.

The Director of Public Security was briefed to by the Northern Region Security Commander about the effort made and the most prominent security and traffic plans within the areas under the Northern Region Security Command.
