Public Security Directorate calls for caution during the high temperature weather in the Kingdom, by following a number of tips and instructions to avoid incidents of sunstroke and heat stress:
- Avoiding direct exposure to the sun to avoid the risk of heat stroke and heat stress.
- Drinking fluids and wear light and loose-fitting clothes.
- Not leaving lighters inside the vehicle during high temperatures because they contain flammable materials.
- Do not leave children alone inside the vehicle, and do not allow them to play under the sun for long periods of time.
- Wearing protective head coverings and hats and taking a break, especially for people whose work nature requires staying under direct sunlight for long periods.
- Not to set fire to herbs, especially in forested areas, for fear of spreading fire and not controlling it.
- Call the unified emergency phone (911) if necessary.
