Today, the Directorate of Public Security at the Royal Police Academy celebrated the honoring of the winners of the academic scientific competition launched by the Directorate, in an effort to enrich the expertise and knowledge of its scientific ranks, to enable them to continue their security and humanitarian efforts aimed at maintaining the security and safety of society.
The competition came under the directives of Public Security Director, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, with the aim of finding advanced scientific solutions that are applicable to address negative issues and phenomena in society, and to continue providing the best services to citizens, residents and visitors in the Kingdom.
The competition, in which a number of personnel of various formations and units in the Public Security Directorate participated, included a series of discussions and working sessions, judged by active and retired Public Security officers.
The submitted researches included a number of dimensions related to the scourge of drugs, cybercrime and traffic safety, in addition to a number of researches related to security issues, which reflected the advanced scientific level reached by the participating personnel.
At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by the Assistant Director of Public Security for Operations and Training and a number of senior officers of the Directorate, prizes were handed over to the winners of the scientific competition.
