The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, patronized today, at the command of the Public Security Ceremonies Group, the directorate's celebration on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of its establishment.
The Director of Public Security said that this occasion indicated the giving that exceeded a hundred years of sacrifice since its establishment in the 1921, in which Public Security Directorate proceeded under the Hashemite leadership to form the corner stone in building society and the renaissance of the nation with sincere efforts to serve this pure Hashemite legacy.
Major General Al-Maaitah indicated that the support provided by the Hashemite leadership to the Public Security Directorate over continuous decades contributed to strengthening its capabilities, until the Directorate became a distinct security model in law enforcement, serving Jordanian people, and preserving established national principles.
The celebration included performances by the Al-Marasem Group, represented by the cavalry and camel units, and the public security musicians, which expressed the legacy of history, the values of chivalry and the authentic fraternity on which the Public Security Directorate was based and carried by its members, generation after generation.
