Today, Public Security Directorate celebrated the graduation of community participation courses and community policing TOT course at the Royal Police Academy.
The ceremony was attended on behalf of the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah , the Assistant for Operations and Training, Brigadier General Anwar Al-Tarawneh, in the presence of the British Ambassador to the Kingdom, Bridget Brind, and her accompanying delegation.
Brigadier General Al Tarawneh stressed the importance of strengthening the positive relationship between police men and citizens as partners who contribute to the security and peace of society, indicating that this promising training program, which was implemented in cooperation with the British side, achieves common security and humanitarian principles and develops our capabilities to provide security for society in accordance with best practices.
In turn, the British ambassador referred to the strategic partnership between Public Security Directorate and the British counterpart, especially in the field of community service and enhancing its security and stability. The ambassador expressed her appreciation for the role of the community policing in consolidating the principles of security and peace in society, stressing her country's keenness to continue the partnership with the Public Security Directorate in a way that serves the two friendly countries. .
At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by a number of senior public security officers, certificates were handed over to the participants.
