Today, Wednesday, Public Security Directorate carried out a blood donation campaign to the Royal Medical Services Blood Bank, to enhance its strategic blood stock.

This campaign, which was launched at the direct orders by the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, was an extension of a series of campaigns implemented by the Directorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services within the Public Security Directorate’s approach to promoting the values of solidarity and cooperation and providing assistance to those in need of blood.

Public Security personnel from the Capital and Central Region Security Command, Gendarmerie and Civil Defense forces participated in implementing the campaign, in cooperation with the Royal Medical Services, Mass Media Community Policing directorate.

The blood donation campaign witnessed a large participation by PSD personnel, which contributed to raising the National Blood Bank’s balance of various blood units.
