The national team and public security boxers, “Obada Al-Kasba and Ziad Ashish,” qualified to the quarter-finals for the Paris Olympics (2024), which is currently being held in the Italian city of Busto Arsizio.

“Obadah Al-Kasba” succeeded in achieving his second victory, defeating Ugandan boxer “Joshua Tukamuhibwa” in the eighth round of the under (63.5) kg competition.

Meanwhile, “Ziyad Ashish” defeated Cuban boxer “Jorge Cuellar” in the eighth-final round in the under (71) kg competition.

Al-Kasba and Ashish are now only one step away from qualifying for the Olympic Games for the first time, as Al-Kasba will meet the Maldovan boxer, Alexandru Parashev, while Ziad Ashish will face the Uzbek boxer, Muydinkhoyev.
