Rescuing people who got stuck inside a bus that was swept away by torrents this afternoon on the desert road.

PSD spokesman said that the traffic on desert road was suspended in both directions at the (Al-Zumaila) area, calling on everyone not to use the road at the present time and to comply with the instructions of the public security men deployed on the road.

The spokesman added that a report was received this afternoon that people were stuck in torrential rains inside a bus that was swept away by the torrents on the desert road.

He confirmed that the specialized teams immediately moved to the place and rescued the 22 stuck people inside the bus, all of whom are in good condition.

Public Security Directorate renews the reminder to citizens on the need to stay away from low areas and torrential rains during the state of weather instability that the Kingdom is witnesses, in order to preserve their safety.
