PSD spokesman said that what is being circulated on social media sites about the vehicle license fee regulation dates back to more than five years ago.

The spokesman stressed that the vehicle licensing regulation that was approved by the cabinet yesterday concerns a specific category of private and rental vehicles registered and licensed from August 22, 1999 until June 15, 2005, as they are the segment most affected by the increase in their license fees.

The decision will result in a reduction in the value of licensing a specific category of vehicles, which is the most affected by vehicle fees, stressing that the decision will not result in any increase in any material value and will contribute to making it easier for the owners of this category to regularly license their vehicles, noting that the details of the regulation will be published, as soon as all its constitutional stages are completed.
