PSD spokesman said that a report was received to the Zarqa Police Directorate yesterday that two unknown persons attempted to rob the employees of a money exchange shop in Zarqa Governorate under threat, but they were unable to do so and set fire to the shop and fled from the place.

The spokesman added that immediately after receiving the communication and collecting information from the crime scene, the descriptions of the two persons and the vehicle in their possession were circulated, and patrols and check point points were distributed in the area.

The spokesman confirmed that one of the criminal investigation patrols was able, shortly after the commission of the crime, to see the suspicious vehicle.

The suspects confessed to planning jointly to carry out the robbery, but they were not able to steal any sums of money, and they set fire to the shop, so they fled, and they will be referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
