The Correction and Rehabilitation Centers in the Public Security Directorate continued to hold Ramadan Iftar for inmates and their families, which are organized by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers in all its locations during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ramadan Iftar was hold to gather the inmates and their families in Ramadan in the centers: Juwaida, Umm al-Lulu, and Marka, as part of the series of Ramadan iftars and meetings that started since the beginning of the holy month and includes all correction and rehabilitation centers, in a humane and social approach that enhances rehabilitation programs for inmates, and maintains their communication with their families.

It is noteworthy that this initiative comes as an extension of the PSD strategy aimed at emphasizing the role of correction centers in rehabilitating the inmates and enabling them to back to a normal life in which they exercise their roles as active members of society in a positive way, after the end of their sentences.
