Public Security Directorate announced the start of implementing the security plan for Eid Al-Adha, which includes all security, traffic and humanitarian measures and services taken for citizens, provide a safe environment for shopping, perform religious and social duties, and meet various needs.

The Directorate stressed that traffic departments will follow a set of measures aimed at regulating traffic and ensuring safety on the roads, while police directorates, departments and specialized units will run patrols in civilian and military clothing in markets, neighborhoods and gatherings.

For its part, the Civil Defense Directorate raise the readiness and ability to respond for providing services efficiently and effectively, calling for adopting preventive behavior and avoiding wrong practices and behaviors that may be a cause of incidents.

In line with the Public Security Directorate's reform policy and its keenness to keep inmates of correction and rehabilitation centers in contact with their external environment, correction and rehabilitation centers will open their doors to inmates' families for special and regular visits starting from the first day of Eid.

Public Security Directorate called for cooperation with security personnel and adherence to safe behaviors while shopping, not leaving children or belongings in vehicles, and avoiding peak times as much as possible when shopping, with the necessity of adhering to traffic rules, and driving in a safe manner without committing moving and dangerous violations that may constitute traffic obstructions that cause traffic jam. Public Security Directorate calls on citizens to cooperate with its personnel working in the field, and to call the unified emergency number 911 when needed .
