The Director of Public Security inaugurated the new building for serving people with disabilities, the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department, which was established within the framework of the extended strategic partnership between the Public Security Directorate and the Supreme Council for Persons with Disabilities.
The building was established in accordance with the approved standards to serve people with disabilities, allowing them to receive all licensing services in one place equipped with all the necessary facilities for this purpose.
Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah affirmed the Public Security Directorate's keenness to provide services to various groups of society, especially people with disabilities, in accordance with the highest standards and in line with international human rights.
The Director of Public Security explained that the opening of the building represents a new practical step within the quality care frameworks that the Directorate gives to people with disabilities, which includes a number of joint operational plans with the various relevant authorities, enabling them to obtain the services they need in the various facilities of the departments.
