The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, met in his office today with the Australian Ambassador to Amman, Bernard Lynch.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the security and police fields, and exchange experiences between the two security agencies in the two friendly countries.

Major General Al-Maaitah stressed the Public Security Directorate's keenness to consolidate strategic partnership frameworks with its counterpart in Australia, with the aim of enriching security and police experiences, especially the training and technical aspects.

In turn, the Australian ambassador appreciated the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate in order to provide comprehensive security and humanitarian services, stressing the importance of cooperation and joint coordination in a way that contributes to serving the two friendly countries.
