The Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, met in his office today the French Ambassador to Amman, Eliquis Lecoeur.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen the joint cooperation in the security and police fields, and exchange experiences between the two security agencies in the two friendly countries.

Major General AbeiAllah Maaitah stressed the keenness of the Public Security Directorate to consolidate the frameworks of the strategic partnership with the French Republic in various fields, especially with the gendarmerie forces and with regard to civil protection systems, and the exchange of modern practical and training experiences.

In turn, the French ambassador appreciated the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate in order to provide comprehensive security and humanitarian services, stressing the importance of joint cooperation and coordination in a way that contributes to strengthening these services in both friendly countries.
