Today, the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, visited the Civil Defense Directorate and the Residence and Borders Department in Aqaba Governorate.

Major General Al-Maaitah was briefed on the most prominent efforts made to ensure safety and means of protection for citizens, visitors and various institutions and facilities in Aqaba.

Major General Al-Maaitah confirmed the readiness of the rescue and ambulance teams and the diving teams and the progress of work during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday and coinciding with the active movement in Aqaba.

The Director of Public Security was also stressed the progress of work in the Residence and Borders Department in the city of Aqaba, praising the efficiency of coordination between the Public Security units and its various formations and their work to provide the best security and humanitarian services.
