Today, at the Jerash Festival site, the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, visited the progress of police measures and security and traffic preparations taken to keep security and order during the days of the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts.

The Director of Public Security stressed the need to implement the security and traffic plan in cooperation with the Jerash Festival administration, security agencies and administrative governors, according to the highest levels of coordination and readiness, in a manner that ensures smooth entry and exit procedures for festival-goers and in an appropriate conditions that allows everyone to enjoy all its events.

Major General Dr. Al-maaitah passed orders to the PSD personnel , from all the formations and components of the Public Security Directorate, to show professionalism and a sense of security, and to carry out their duties to the fullest extent from the beginning of the events until their end.

The Director of Public Security was briefed by the North Region Security Commander, in which he outlined a set of police and security measures and plans to ensure the security of the festival.
