In the presence of Public Security Director, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Potash Company, Eng. Shehada Abu Hudaib, today, Tuesday, the Licensing Department of the Southern Ghor was inaugurated.
The opening of the department, which was fully funded by the company and at a cost of more than one million Jordanian dinars, comes to provide licensing services to a wide segment of the residents of the southern Jordan Valley, facilitate them, save their time and effort.
The Director of Public Security confirmed that the opening of this section came as an example of cooperation between the Public Security Directorate and national companies to contribute to providing the best security and social services towards citizens in local communities.
The director indicated that Public Security Directorate is continuing to achieve its goals and expand its services to meet the needs of citizens and facilitate them, indicating that the Directorate appreciates all the national efforts made in partnership that contribute to serving society and citizens.
For his part, Eng. Abu Hudaib expressed the Arab Potash Company's pride in the Public Security Directorate and its departments and units, for the great national services they provide to serve the Jordanian society, indicating that the financing of the Southern Ghor Licensing Department by the company comes in implementation of its social responsibility strategy, the various sectors of society, in addition to its constant endeavor to empower the communities in which it operates and contribute to providing the best services to them.
Eng. Abu Hudaib explained the importance of opening the Southern Ghor Licensing Department and the services it will provide to the local community, stressing that the company continues to implement its policy towards its surroundings, touches their needs and works to meet them in partnership with all stakeholders.
The opening ceremony was attended by the CEO of the Arab Potash Company, Dr. Maen Al-Nsour, Assistant Director of Public Security to Brigadier General Rami Al-Dabbas, and a number of senior public security officers.
It is noteworthy that the new department has begun to provide its services to citizens, as it will serve a wide segment of citizens from the residents of the southern Jordan Valley, villages located to the west of Karak and neighboring areas, in addition to users of the Jordan Valley-Aqaba road and the vehicles of potash companies.
