PSD spokesman said that the high temperatures that the Kingdom is witnessing, the Civil Defense Directorate calls for the necessity of following a number of instructions to avoid the occurrence of sunstroke and heat stress incidents:
- Avoid direct exposure to the sun to avoid the risk of heat stroke and heat stress.
- Drink of fluids and wear light and loose-fitting clothes.
- Do not leave sterilizers inside the vehicle during high temperatures because they contain flammable materials.
- Do not leave children alone inside the vehicle
- Wearing protective head coverings and hats and taking a break, especially for people whose work nature requires staying under direct sunlight for long periods.
- Not to swim except in the places designated for that and in the presence of lifeguards and public safety means
- Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency phone (911) if need.
