Public Security Knights snatched the ticket to in the World Cup of tent pegging, which will be held in August of this year in South Africa.
The Public Security Knights achieved remarkable results in the third group of the World Cup, which was held in Lahore, Pakistan, and included teams (Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Libya, Belarus and Jordan).
Knight Hussam Al-Khazaleh won the first class in the individual javelin event, and the first class in the cut and rings event, and he won the award for the best knight in the tournament.
The team came in second level in the overall total in the various activities of the tournament, after distinguished results and advanced positions achieved by the Knights of the Public Security Team, with a total of (517) points behind the host Pakistani team.
Public Security team is the only team that represents the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in this sport, and has won first levels in many international championships.
The Public Security Directorate participated in the tournament with a delegation headed by Colonel Dr. Muhammad Al-Zawaida, with the membership of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Al-Adwan, the coach of the team, Second Lieutenant Youssef Shtayyat, and the knights (Hussam Al-Khazaleh, Abdel-Wahhab Al-Jarrah, Ahmed Al-Sarhan, Omar Salem, Adhim Al-Faouri).
