the crackdowns  in Aqaba governorate leads to: The arrest of 9 wanted persons by the Anti-Narcotics Department in possession of quantities of narcotics, 2040 liters of smuggled gasoline and three environmental violations.

PSD spokesman  said that the cadres of the Public Security Directorate participating in the implementation of security crackdowns  in the Aqaba governorate began their duty since yesterday evening to control all violations of the law.

The spokesman  confirmed that the security crackdown , on its first day, led to the arrest of 49 wanted persons, including 9drugdealers , and quantities of narcotics were seized in their possession, in addition to the seizure of 2,040 liters of smuggled gasoline, which was stored in a way that threatens public safety.

With regard to environmental violations, three violations were seized on one of the beaches of Aqaba, and the necessary violations were issued against them, in addition to the seizure of a wanted vehicle, while a number of dangerous and obstructive traffic violations were issued.
