The Tourism Police Department operates patrols using (scooters) as part of its work system, to achieve effectiveness and speed of response to any event or report in tourist areas

PSD spokesman said: The Tourism Police Department started operating security patrols using (scooters) in some tourist sites in some areas of the Kingdom.

The spokesman explained that the use of (scooters) comes in its first phase in the city of Aqaba, to later expand their use in some other tourist places, indicating that the attention to run such patrols came because they are the most suitable for tourist sites and for the optimal use of resources and achieving an effective presence of security patrols in tourist sites, which facilitates the provision of security and humanitarian services and reduces the response time to any security event or report.
