 PSD spokesman said that a report was received the day before yesterday that a person was attacked with sharp tool by a group of persons while he was in the Abu Nusair area, north of the capital. The main assailant in the incident was directly arrested and referred to the judiciary.

The spokesman confirmed that the injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment. Through investigations, three brothers of the main assailant involved in the attack were identified as two of them were arrested, and the third was still fugitive. Investigations were launched with suspect in preparation for referring them to the judiciary.

Investigations also indicated that a previous dispute between the people and that person was the reason for the assault, as there was a previous case between them that was referred to the judiciary about a month ago.
