PSD spokesman said that firefighters and ambulance personnel in the Jerash Civil Defense Directorate and the police dealt with a fire that broke out today inside a house in the Al-Mushairfa area in Jerash Governorate.

The fire resulted in the death of three people as a result of their exposure to severe burns to the body, and five other people were injured with various burns and shortness of breath as a result of inhaling the gases emitted by the fire. The civil defense worked to extinguish the fire and control it completely, while the ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured and then transported them to the hospital, The deaths were evacuated to Jerash Governmental Hospital and the injuries are under treatment. An investigation was opened to determine the cause of the fire.
