The Jordan Special Police Company in the Congo responded to the call of humanity and responded to an incident reported to it in the port of Uvira about the fire of a government ship working to transport goods and citizens in the south of the Congo, where the Jordan FPU dispatched the scene despite the ruggedness of the area, after effort ,they were able to extinguish the fire.
Although the Jordanian Special Police Company has a police and security nature, it dealt with the fire incident with the equipment available, preventing the spread of the fire and contributing to saving lives and property.
In turn, the United Nations Mission in the Congo thanked the Jordanian police FPU, on its official pages, for the rapid response of the officers and personnel, and their courage to protect lives and property, as well as their role in maintaining international peace and security.
The mayor of the city, who came to the site on behalf of the city's residents, also expressed his appreciation to Jordanian FPU since the fire broke out in the only ship operating for the service of citizens in the area
