When traveling through the King Hussein Bridge :
Kindly.. make sure of the required documents when coming to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan:
- A valid Jordanian passport, or whose expiration date is not less than 10 years.
- A valid Palestinian passport.
- The Israeli permit and the Palestinian identity.
- The magnetic exit card.
- For arrivals who do not hold passports and carry visit cards issued by the Civil Status and Passports Department, they are required to check the date of issuance of the card and the passport department stamp on it and the card holder’s photo. This card will be approved for one-time arrival within six months of its issuance.
- For those coming from Jerusalem identity holders who do not hold passports and have documents issued by the representative of the Civil Status and Passports Department, they are required to check the date of issuance of the transaction and stamp it by the representative of the Jordanian Passports and the Sharia Court. This transaction is approved for one-time arrival and within three months of its issuance.
Passengers are required to check the required documents upon leaving the Palestinian side:
- A valid Jordanian passport or a Palestinian passport.
- The Israeli permit and the Palestinian identity.
- Jordanian parents’ approvals for their minor children to leave.
- The minor children of Jordanians are not allowed to leave unless accompanied by the father, otherwise the following is required:
- Submit a written consent from the father issued by a security center, signed, attested and stamped with the seal of the security center.
- In the event that the father is outside the country, he is required to send the approval by fax through the Jordan embassies around the world.
- If it is not possible to send an approval from the embassy, it must be sent online, under the following conditions:
- A copy of the husband's valid passport.
- A copy of the residence permit.
- A non-objection letter containing the names of the accompanying persons signed by the husband.
- For those leaving who do not hold passports and who hold visit cards issued by the Civil Status and Passports Department, they are required to check the date of issuance of the card and the stamp of the Passports Department on it and on the card holder’s photo. This card is approved for one-time arrival and within six months of its issuance.
- Original birth certificates for children leaving for the first time.
- Approvals for escorts under the legal age
- It is not allowed to accept approvals for children’s travel unless they are issued by police stations within the jurisdiction.
- In the event that the spouses are outside the country, the spouse is required to send the application by fax through the Jordanian embassies around the world.
- If it is not possible to send an approval from the embassy, it must be sent online, under the following conditions:
- A copy of the husband's valid passport.
- A copy of the residence permit.
- A non-objection letter containing the names of the accompanying persons signed by the husband.
- Inquiry at the control device to confirm the presence of the husband outside the country and prove this in writing on the non-objection paper.
- Checking the non-objection paper by the responsible officer in the hall and its written approval by him.
- An article shall be included in the daily records by the officer on duty at the concerned department.
- The officer on duty delivers all the approvals recorded in the status register during the shift to the Bureau.
- All approvals are kept in a special file at the department’s Office for reference when needed.
Instructions for the flag service book
Jordanian brothers leaving via the King Hussein Bridge to Palestine (males holding national numbers) born in 1978 until 2000 are requested to ensure that the flag service book is postponed or to obtain travel permits from the Recruitment Division of armed forces.
