1.  provide the necessary lands to meet the current and future needs of Public Security Directorate, and follow up the procedures with the concerned authorities.
  2. Designing projects in coordination with the unit/department concerned to prepare specifications and bid documents for these projects, and submitting and referring them according to legal principles.
  3. Supervising the projects that are implemented by contracting companies according to specifications and plans, and authorizing the payment of financial requests to contractors.
  4. Implementation of some projects directly through the department personnel.
  5. Follow up the work of the new buildings for the competent  PSD units.
  6. Follow up the delivery of water, electricity and sanitation services for new projects and existing buildings.
  7. Maintaining public security properties, including buildings and land.
  8. Follow up on the lease and rental of facilities operated by Public Security units and departments, and related contracts.
  9. Supervising the public security housing for personnel and following up on the rights of public security upon eviction.
  10. Carrying out all the necessary accounting work, which includes forming purchase committees, auditing purchase transactions, paying dues for purchases, checking invoices submitted by contracting companies executing projects, water and electricity bills, rents and public security housing dues according to legal methods.
  11. Enhancing the knowledge, communication, creativity and innovation system in institutional work.
  12. Ensure optimal use of available human and material resources.
  13. Enhancing and activating cooperation and coordination with service partners.
