In order to achieve the royal visions - His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein to develop, modernize and advance the services provided to the Public Security Agency by merging the three security agencies (Public Security Directorate, the Directorate of Gendarmerie Forces and the General Directorate of Civil Defense) under one leadership, and emphasizing His Majesty in more than one forum and occasion on the need to preserve the historical cultural heritage and the Jordanian national identity During the reign of King Abdullah I Ibn Al-Hussein. On 17/2/2020 it is issued the establishment of Command of PSD ceremony group including three units (the Knights Unit, PSD Musicals group and PSD camel unit) in addition to the creation of public security ceremony platoon.
