PSD Musical Group

 PSD musical   group was formed in 1960 included  (27) twenty-seven individuals who were transferred from the Jordan Armed Forces to public security directorate  (Police Officers Training Institute) in Abdali to form PSD musical   group,  With the support of the leaders of the directorate, the PSD Musical unit kept pace with the development of PSD in the quantitative and qualitative aspect.

• In 1989, the unit was followed to the Police Training School (Prince Hussein Ibn Abdullah Institute for Training New recruits) where the location was moved to Zarqa.
• In 2002, a music faction was formed from the personnel of women police, in a step considered advanced on the Arab level. This faction was prepared and trained by trainers from the musicians of the Public Security.
• On May 7, 2007, the music of the Public Security was separated from Prince Hussein Ibn Abdullah School for training new recruits and followed to the Personnel Affairs Department. Its location was moved to North Marka and it was restructured to be developed technically and administratively, and the women police music faction was included in the music rank.
• On February 17, 2020, the unit's affiliation was moved from the Training Department to the Public Security Ceremonies Group command.
