Objectives and Duties

• Enforce  the Traffic Law on Roads to contribute to the reduction of traffic accidents and their tragic consequences, in cooperation with the concerned authorities
• Spreading security and safety by providing assistance to all road users
• Coordinating and cooperating with partners in the traffic process and controlling road security
• Preparing traffic studies and reports and participating in traffic awareness campaigns for various segments of society
• Accompanying shipping convoys, providing the necessary facilities upon request, receiving communications, passing information on accidents and weather conditions, and passing road conditions to the competent authorities.
• Carry out any duties issued by the Public Security Directorate.
