Duties
- Preparing, approving and reviewing the strategic plan on a quarterly basis for the Public Security Directorate and the annual plans for all PSD units and departments through the strategic planning team headed by the Assistant Director of Public Security for administration and logistical support.
- Periodic coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation Department regarding the results of the quarterly institutional performance evaluation for all units and departments of the Public Security Directorate as a basis for following up the implementation of the strategic plan of the Public Security Directorate in order to maximize strengths and develop priority plans for possible improvement opportunities.
- Planning human resources for all units and departments of the Public Security Directorate, in coordination with the Directorate of Officers Affairs and the Directorate of Personnel Affairs.
- Planning logistical resources (vehicles , weapons, equipment, devices, etc.) for all units and departments of the Public Security Directorate, in coordination with the logistical, operational and service departments concerned with continuous spending, and preparing and updating the basis for their disbursement and use.
- Issuing organizational structures and budgets for all units and departments of the Public Security Directorate and amending them as needed.
- Preparing, approving and updating work procedures manual, job description and job specifications for all units and departments of the Public Security Directorate, in coordination with them.
- Preparing current and financial budgets and following up their approval with all official authorities after obtaining the kind approval of Public Security Director.
- Approving the technical modifications of the operating equipment in accordance with the issued budgets and in coordination with the competent departments.
- Monthly coordination with the financial department to find out the financial situation of the Public Security Directorate.
