Under the royal patronage, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Training City was inaugurated on May 2, 2007.
The Establishment of King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Training City came in order to unify the training methodology and training concepts in the Public Security Agency and to gather a number of training institutes in the Public Security Agency in one training center and benefit from the fields, classrooms and training aids available to all institutes.
In 2018, the Police Operations Training Institute was transferred to the Training City, and the Language and Computer Training Institute and the Officers Training Institute were abolished, as the Training City became part of the Training Directorate, and three training institutes are followed are :
