Police Operations Training Institute

- Establishing : On 9/21/2015, the Police Operations Training Institute was established.
- Commencement of work: On November 15 2015, the institute's first session was held.
- Opening: On December 3 2015, the institute was inaugurated.
- Connection: On December 27, 2018, the Police Operations Training Institute is affiliated to King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Training City.
Institute Mission:
- Demonstrate the importance of specialized training for police directors and heads of Police Stations, in a way that will positively reflect on their employees ’performance to carry out their duties and raise their efficiency in the field of police and security sciences.
- Deepening the sense of responsibility, spreading discipline and consolidating the values of public security.
- Preparing and training the security and emergency employees about the skills of using weapons, their legal controls, the skills of inspecting and modern techniques in policing work.
- Update the legal information related to the public security's job duties.
- Conducting periodic studies of errors and pitfalls and developing training programs for them.
- Raising the level of workers in security centers and first respond teams in communication skills and the way of dealing with citizens, and strengthening their relations with the local community.
- Participation in developing the necessary practical and theoretical training curricula.
- Evaluating trainees theoretically and practically according to the scientific principles used in evaluating training programs.
- Contribute to reducing expenses and costs arising from the wrong use of devices and equipment.
