Prince Ghazi Institute for non-commissioned officers

Historical Overview:

  • On 12/15/1983, the training school was established, as the name was initially the Training School for the Desert Force and the Border Guard.
  • In 1997, the Royal Desert Forces Training School was renamed due to the changes witnessed by the leadership of the Royal Desert Forces.
  • On February 24, 2001, a Royal Decree was issued naming it the Prince Ghazi Ibn Mohammad Badia School, after a knight from the Hashem family.
  • On 19/04/2003, it was separated from the Royal Desert Forces Command, to be affiliated with the Training Department, and its name became (Prince Ghazi Ibn Mohammad Police School).
  • On 1/2/2006, the name was changed to Prince Ghazi Ibn Mohammad School for Qualifying Non-Commissioned Officers.
  • On May 1, 2007, the Prince Ghazi Ibn Mohammad Institute for the Qualification of Non-Commissioned Officers became affiliated with the leadership of King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Training City.
  • On 6/27/2018, the name was changed to the Prince Ghazi bin Mohammad Institute for the Training of Non-Commissioned Officers.

Institute Mission:

Preparing and qualifying non-commissioned officers, public security personnel, security and civil agencies, and participants from friendly and brotherly countries to develop their intellectual and practical capabilities in a way that contributes to raising their level of training to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.

The Duties:

  1. Holding courses for the personnel of the Public Security Agency (non-commissioned officers and individuals) and according to the annual training plan.

     

  2. Ensure that the participants in the courses meet the requirements for each course.

     

  3. Preparing and training non-commissioned officers and the Public Security personnel  through specialized courses (academic, field).

     

  4. Maintaining and developing all curricula and publications.

     

  5. Maintaining  all training aids at the institute.

     

  6. Holding mandatory  courses for which placements are made through the Department of Personnel Affairs and the requirements for promotion from one rank to another, such as (foundational security, promotion to other ranks).

     

  7. Holding local courses.

     

  8. Holding special sessions as needed.
