Prince Hussein Institute for the Training of Police Recruits

Establishment Stages:

  • Establishment: On November 15, 1971, the institute was established .
  • Commencement of work: On November 15, 1971, the first sessions of the Institute were held.
  • Opening: On November 15, 1971, the institute was inaugurated.
  • On May 1, 2017, the institute was followed to King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Training City, which in turn is followed to the Training Directorate.

Institute Mission:

Supplementing the Public Security Directorate with qualified and trained police, scientific and military cadres based on clear foundations of military discipline and propriety, maintain order and adherence of instructions and orders.

The Duties:

Training and preparing cadets coerces with basic military and academic training in order to qualify them to carry out the duties that will be entrusted to them in the future, where during this period they receive training on weapons, physical fitness, academic and police sciences.
