The training diploma program is implemented when the participant passes a number of courses in one package for each training diploma which consists of the following programs:

  1. Diploma in preparing security leaders.
  2. Diploma in criminal and security sciences.
  3. Diploma in training of trainers.
  4. Diploma in security and strategic management.
  5. Diploma in protecting women and children (held by the Family and Juvenile Protection Department under the supervision of the Royal Police Academy).

Conditions: -

Each training diploma program has a number of courses under it, the participant must pass those courses in addition to the following conditions to obtain the diploma:

 

  • The rank is at least lieutenant colonel for the Security Leaders Preparation Diploma, and second lieutenant for the rest of the programs.
  • The minimum number of credit-hours is 300 training hours.
  • The evaluation must be at least good.
  • The educational level must be at least high school.
  • The courses offered to obtain the diploma must be included within the courses of the required diploma program.
  • The minimum number of credit hours for each course shall be (25) credit hours.
  • The applicant shall fill out the application form for the diploma and attach the required documents.
  • The Academy Council shall issue a decision to grant the training diploma to the diploma student.
  • Passing the admission exam to participate in the training diploma program
  • Pay (20) JD as exam fees to be paid to the Public Security Directorate, and (20) JD to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • If the student has taken courses similar to the courses of the diploma program he/she wishes to obtain, they shall be presented to the Academy Council after being provided with the detailed framework for both courses (alternative and substitute), after which the Academy Council shall issue a decision to approve them or not.
  • Categories that are allowed to obtain the training diploma:

A- In-service commissioned officers.

B- Retired military commissioned-officers.

C- Non-Jordanian participants.

D- Government employees.

 

The training diploma is considered professional, not academic, as it holds no academic degree.

 

If the candidate completes the training diploma requirements, the application is submitted to the Academy Council, after approval, the admission exam is held under the supervision of the Royal Police Academy, and then coordination is made with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to complete the remaining procedures and certify the certificates.
