The Technical Training Center was established as a new unit of the maintenance units and it was inaugurated under the Royal Patronage, where the representative of His Majesty His Highness Prince Hashem Ibn Al-Hussein kindly inaugurated the Technical Training Center in its distinguished location on 2/5/2007 after it was equipped the latest equipment, training and educational means necessary for the training process.
On 17/12/2019, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein directed the merger of (the General Directorate of Gendarmerie Forces and the General Directorate of Civil Defense) to the Public Security Directorate, and thus the maintenance units of the three directorates were merged in one unit, as the courses that fall within the competence of the maintenance department with its three components to the courses of the Technical Training Center.

Presenting advanced training activities and plans and implementing the programs of all courses effectively by using the best modern training methods to raise the level of performance technically and administratively for all personnel of the Public Security Units in general and the personnel of the Maintenance Department in particular to carry out their duties with high professionalism and in a way that saves time and effort.
