Duties

• Protecting  the security and safety of tourist groups at all stages of the tourism process.
• Carrying out patrol work in tourist and archaeological areas and hotels through check points and foot patrols.
• Monitoring the performance of tourism activities and their compliance with legislation, controlling violations, and implementing closure decisions issued by His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.
• Receiving complaints and comments, whether from tourists or workers in the tourism sector, and dealing with them in coordination with concerned authorities.
• Providing the necessary facilities and explanations to official delegations during their visits to archaeological and tourist sites.
• Preparing reports and statistics related to tourism activities and incidents and submitting them to the competent authorities.
• Coordinating with the relevant regional security commanders and the highway patrol department to guard tourist groups.
• Carrying out any other duties required at the time.
