The department participated in the fifth cycle of the award, where it won the second level for the bronze stage, in the award category for public institutions that participated more than once and for which 45 institutions competed,

Traffic Department
The department participated in the fourth session in the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence, where it received a certificate of recognition for its excellence and the sergeant Lara Al Twaal won the award for the outstanding supporting employee.

In the year (2007), the third session of the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency, when the Traffic Department ranked fifth out of 27 institutions that participated more than once, and sixth among 54 institutions that participated in the award

Traffic Department
The Department participated in the second session of the award for the year (2005) and got sixth level out of twenty-eight institutions. It also got the rank of best achievement as it jumped (eight levels ) between the first and second sessions
