Duties
- Planning training and issuing training guidance in implementation of strategic directives. taking into account the conditions of the local, regional and international training environment, including the security opportunities and challenges it contains
- Unifying the training process for the three components on common duties and managing the crisis.
- Assessment and identification of training needs for all functional tracks and specializations.
- Adopt and develop plans, curricula and programs in support of the training needs of the units of the Public Security Directorate to be effective according to the available capabilities.
- Adopting unified criteria for selecting and evaluating trainers.
- General supervision of all cities, centers, training institutes and scientific academies and contribute to providing an appropriate training environment to achieve the general objective of the training process.
- Follow-up, supervision and evaluation of training exercises.
- Supervising the preparation of financial budgets and training advances for institutes and training centers.
- Planning and direct supervision of the implementation of the phases of training the newcomers.
- Supervising and following up the implementation of specialized training in institutes and training centers.
- Planning and following up the stages of job qualification for all ranks and direct supervision of promotion examinations.
- Determining the mandatory courses for officers and other ranks and linking them to patchwork in coordination with the concerned departments and according to the instructions.
- Follow-up, evaluation and coordination of external training programs, scholarships and scholarships.
- Training cooperation and coordination with various international, civil and military institutions for the purpose of joint training.
- Monitoring, evaluating and measuring the training impact, maximizing strengths and using improvement opportunities to develop performance.
